Trillium Lake March 24 2013

Ann and I did an overnight snowshoe trip to Trillium lake.  The snow conditions were great, and it cleared up overnight for some nice views, but by morning it had clouded up again.

I purchased a refurbished Canon Rebel T2i and the 18 - 55 & 55 - 250 mm lens last fall and have taken it on several hikes since that time.

Boy Scout Ridge - Anniversary weekend

Snowshoed up to Boy Scout Ridge on Mt hood for the night and spend a beautiful windy night with my dear wife on our 17th anniversary weekend.  We have stayed on the ridge once before a little further down the ridge and like that spot more since it isn't directly lit up by the spot lights at Timberline Lodge which is one ridge over.

Last Sunday, I went to the Oregon Coast with our friend Janie to do some picture taking.  The day ended up very cloudy and breezy, but I still managed to get some pictures.  We went to Cape Meares and Oceanside which are just west of Tillamook.

 

Signs that Spring is nearing

While I was putting the tree trimmings into the recycle bin today, I got distracted by the flowers starting to bloom in our yard.  I love this time of year when spring starts to show that it is near.
